I'm shocked at how quick your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I'm not even

It is no doubt that google is paying more attention to local searches now.
And also you can see Yahoo is looking into this aggressively too.

I'm a huge Microsoft Fanboy - owned everything from Windows 2.0 all the way until the new Kinect and Windows Phone 7 devices. But this kind of video is a big reason why they've been losing mindshare to Google and Apple.

They've been putting out these videos for the longest time, I remember seeing the first classroom video exactly like this in the early 90s when Bill Gates's "The Road Ahead" book came with a free CD-ROM. Back then, it was a vision of the interconnected world, global classrooms, surface PCs in people's kitchen and much of the stuff that's possible today, but not widespread.

On the other hand, Apple's videos only focus on what they've made possible TODAY, not 10 yrs from today. And to today's consumers that seems much more genuine - because they can go feel those changes right now.

I think they had a decent hybrid strategy when they launched the Project Natal videos - they were a vision for the near future (18-24 months), and closely associated with a product. But this kind of global awesome computing visions, I think ultimately hurt MS more than they love.

I'd love to see more 1-3 yr vision videos which are product foussed ... how is MS going to change monitors? gaming? the internet? office software? .... stuff they can tempt, and then deliver. Then maybe, they'll get their market cap leadership on Apple back ;)

I didn't like Google instant in the beginning but it grew on me and know I love it. It saves time and that is what we all are after even if it is only a little bit of time.

It was only a matter of time before it got rolling on the mobile plateau.

Very short but informative video by Matt. It sums up how google works in a very easy to understand manner. It also shows how important it is to learn SEO or better still hire a good company to do your SEO if you really want to show up in the search engines for any good keywords.

Thanks for posting it

Comment on Facebook More Popular Than Google: So? by Tommy

Yes indeed I agree with you. It is true that Facebook does have higher visitor returns and SEO or PPC have have higher monetization value. But I must add that these are simply internet marketing tools. What is more critical is how a organization set-up their internet marketing strategy. Typically I like using the A.I.D.A model.

Facebook has a large brand awareness potential, but that does not mean that they do not have monitization potential as well. If a person set it up as just a fan page, clearly it would be hard to capitalize on it or to quantify it. But the correct apps and promotions are set in place with the right traffic funneling tactic. The result could be very different.
